Can I just turn up without booking?
Booking is required if you wish to have a guaranteed spot on the tour on your chosen date. It is possible to turn up on the day but spaces are limited to 20 people and people who booked get priority. Please email me on firstname.lastname@example.org in case any questions about walk-ins.
Do you run tours all year round?
Yes, yes we do! Spring, summer, autumn and winter!
When should I arrive?
Please arrive at least 5 minutes early so we can leave on time.
I was asked in the confirmation letter to bring my ticket so the guide can check it. Will my ticket will be emailed to me prior to the tour?
Your payment confirmation is your ticket. Please present this to the guide at the start of the walk – this can be printed out or on your phone.
What should I bring?
Aside from your good self, you may want to bring a camera and an umbrella (or waterproofs). We recommend you wear comfortable walking shoes too.
Where do the tours meet in Camden?
Our meeting point is just outside Camden Town station, outside HSBC bank. Just opposite the VANS store. Address: 176-178 Camden High Street. Camden, London. NW1 8NH.
Where do the tours meet in Brick Lane / Shoreditch?
Outside Whitechapel Gallery / Aldgate East station. Address: 77-82 Whitechapel High Street. London. E1 7QX.
How long do tours last?
Walking tours typically last two hours.
Oh dear, I’m running late and I’m worried the tour will leave! What can I do?
We can wait a few minutes after our designated start time before we set off. After that to be fair to your fellow tour guests we will need to set off. There’s a lot to see! But don’t worry! In your confirmation email we’ll send you a contact phone number for your guide so you can call, we will let you know where we are and you can catch up! If you completely miss the tour we’ll try and fit you on another on a date that works for you. Ticket sales are final but you can transfer your ticket to another person or save the ticket for a future date if rearranging is inconvenient for you in the short term.
I can’t book a tour on the date I want to! Help!
If you’d like to book a tour but the date isn’t available in the calendar it means the tour is fully booked or its too far in advance to book. New dates are constantly added so please check back often.
Will the walk always be the same?
Street art comes and goes all the time! The tour often changes to accommodate the changes on the street. However, the theme of the tour and the fun of the experience is a constant!
Are the tours suitable for children?
Absolutely. We often have children on the tours.
Do you give discounts for bigger groups?
Yes we do. Please contact me on email@example.com to arrange a private tour for your group on your chosen date / time / area.
Who is responsible for the safety of the people taking the tour?
The guide will remind you of safety precautions at the beginning of each tour, but each member of the group is responsible for their own safety.
Are your tours accessible for wheelchair users / strollers?
Yes they are. Smooth pavement and some cobble stones on the tour route in both Camden and Shoreditch.
What languages are your tours in?
Both tours are in English only.
